Chevelle Red Bank Concert reviews
Chevelle rocks the beach
If you are a fan of this hard rocking Chicago trio, you know how long it's been since they have hit town to allow us all to get blown away by their booming sound. The wait was certainly worth it because they were amazing. The blew the doors out of the Fillmore on South Beach, which was a perfect place to enjoy the rockers up close. The show was a perfect mix of their two newest albums, which are both great, and the classic Chevelle hits that are a must to end their powerful set. It was a great extra treat in their encore when the included a perfectly screeching version of, "get some". This show couldn't have been any better. They said several times that they should play Miami more and I couldn't agree more. Please make us a regular stop on all your future tours.
Chevelle Rocked!
First, I must preface this with the fact that I have been a Chevellion (hardcore fan of Chevelle) for 16-17 years. If I hear they are appearing anywhere near me, I find a way to go. That said, my wife and I drove to Greensboro, NC from Virginia Beach, VA (roughly 4 hours) to see them at Piedmont Hall. The venue was wide open, with bars on both sides of the stage and the merchandise tables in the back. No seating, but who sits at a rock show?!?! Great venue for live rock music! Sound was great, crowd was into the show, the place was rocking! That is all.
